    RuralShores to start 100 rural BPO units in India

     

    The new center will be started in the Northeastern part of the country. The RuralShores Business Process Outsourcing plans to start 100 Business Process Outsourcing delivery centers which will ass 10,000 seats to its capacity in the next three years. The RuralShores has now launched 10 rural delivery center across seven states such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, TN, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and MP. This is currently the outsourcing service providers employs 1000 employees across 10 delivery centers in different parts of the country. The firm plans to come up with about 500 rural delivery centers in the next ten years, which employ about one lakh employees. The company has not started to generate profit, but they expect that the profit will pour in within one year from now.

    The company has declared the launch of its entry into voice based support process at Chand centers in Madhya Pradesh, the center will serve a client from the telecom sector in India. It is announced that the employees in the center will offer help desk support in Hindi to customers of the client. The RuralShores has recently celebrated its third anniversary and the celebrations were attended bu M. Veerapa Moily, Central Corporate affairs minister.

    An investor at RuralShores dismissed any fear that clients have about rural Business Process Outsourcing. The company has offered services to 24 clients in the last three years and there is room for fear as it has proven its capability. The employees in such BPO are serious about their job as they do not have many opportunities as those in the urban areas have. The rural BPO enjoys an advantage of knowledge retention which is a result of low attrition rates which is in the single digit range. The main reason for attrition is the relocation of women employees after the marriage. The rural Business Process Outsourcing also have the advantage of low cost as the salary paid to employees is reasonable than what is paid to employees in the urban areas. There is a saving in terms of transportation
