In a several acquisition, most notably the three outsourcing related acquisitions that they are all announced.  This includes an acquisition by the outsourcing marketplace provider.  The freelancer.com who announced that it has acquired Lime Exchange’s 2 million users onto the Freelancers.com will be migrating all of Lime Exchange’s. The agreement strengthens towers watsons position as a premier provider of health and welfare outsourcing and provides greater economies of scale to help them maintain their service quality while supporting their longer term growth goals. The CSC’s announcement that it has acquired based Information Technology systems and services company.  With the addition of CenTauri  Solutions, CSC strengthens their capabilities in providing Information Technologgy services and systems integration solutions that deliver value to the defense intelligence agency and customers.

The outsourcing company EXLService on the other hand announced that the official inauguration of its new global delivery center in Noida, India which marks its first phase of expansion plans in the locality. The expansion is slated to expand EXL’s workforce in the country by as much as 2,200 seats slated towards new clients acquisitions as well as the expansion of the existing client operations.  It will be interesting to see how the outsourcing industry will fare once again with the year almost concluded and a fresh one set to start.  The outsourcing climate may still go either way.  Taking into account that outlook has largely remained positive and even Accentures better than expected first quarter fiscal results for 2011, it is easier to envision a promising future ahead for the outsourcing in 2011.
