    Outsourcing Companies on an Acquisition Roll

     

     

    In the past few weeks as a part of the global strategies for the business to complement existing outsourcing services, a number of the companies have announced acquisitions.  The acquisitions have been across several different verticals but it is primarily acquisitions are being fueled by the plans of the expansion along with the existing geographies to fuel further growth with the less overhead costs due to a new infrastructure or to complement existing services to take advantage of a new trends and market changes.  Among the Information Technology outsourcing companies, notable acquisitions featured managed services providers.  The technologies acquired outsourcing services provider on the 8th of February.  The acquisition comes on the heels of the mindSHIFT’s acquisition of the another managed services provider.

    The geographic reach considering that a former acquisition by the company, Quagga would become national overnight with the acquisition.  The acquisition agreement however is currently under investigation pending possible breaches of the fiduciary duty.  In the human resources and the healthcare verticals, a human resource outsourcing services provider, this acquired Astra HR a Maryland based Professional Employer Organization on the 8th of February as a part of the growth through the acquisition strategy. The Astra HR is a expected to bring the support services for the Xcel HR’s payroll platform.  Its existing markets in the DC and Baltimore areas without adding more infrastructures to complex existing services to take advantage of a new trends and market changes.

    The Information Technology outsourcing companies, notable acquisitions features managed services providers.  The Mindshift technologies acquired outsourcing services provider ORBIT Systems on the 8th of February.  The acquisition comes on the heels of the mind SHIFT’s acquisition of another managed services providers.  The ORBIT is being acquired as a part of mindshifts geographic expansion strategy as well as ti enhance its cloud computing services in the conjunction with the Orbit’s own cloud services.  The another acquisition by an MSP is PAETEC Holding’s 9th of February acquisition of Xeta Technologies for $61 million. The company move was fueled in part to expand its cliud offering as well as to expand their geographic reach considering that a former acquisition by the company.

    The acquisition agreement however is currently under investigation pending possible breaches of fiduciary duty.  The HUman Resource and the healthcare verticals, a human resources outsourcing services provider acquired Astra HR a Maryland based Professional Employer Organization on the 8th of February as a part of its growth through the acquisition strategy.
