The different favored sources of the information, including those for the news headlines and social media, that search regularly. With the regards to the outsourcing, the item included in the top business deals for the year 2009 was the HP. HP acquires EDS for $13.9 billion, it was listed in 2009 because even though the deal was made in 2008, it is started paying dividends last 2009. There have been lots of different companies signing mergers left and right. With the tech companies alone there’s been Xerox and ACS, Dell and Perot Systems and HP and 3Com. The results of these deals still remain to be seen. With the HP-EDS deals, the results are already out and going down to the nitty-gritty, the HP would’ve performed dismally this 2009 if they had not acquired EDS.

From a product-oriented company into a service provider and by doing, the acquisition of EDS by HP marked the company’s transition. Placing them right on the heels of the big blue IBM. With the other Information Technology companies largely following in HP’s steps in the past 2009 and it is still ongoing really, prospects for the Tech outsourcing companies mergers and acquisition are very high and still climbing. They will all have to wait and see whether the other deals that came through will lead to a bigger profits for the corresponding companies this 2010. As one of the top business deals of 2009, the deal marked a new direction for the outsourcing by tech companies and paved the way for most of the different contracts by HP EDS and the other companies that they have all been reading about. In the year 2009 that could have been a better year for the HP EDS.
